Job Description Job Description Staff Source is seeking CNC Machinist candidates for a client in Crown Point, IN. This CNC Machinist position is a Temp to Hire position. This position is currently available on 1st shift 7:30am-4pm Mon-Friday. Job duties: • Operate CNC machines and ensure produced parts comply with specifications and quality standards • Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine or machine’s program as required • Read, interpret and make practical application of blueprints, including determining which tool makes each cut on parts • Operate precision manual machinery such as lathes, vertical mills, horizontal mills, drill press, hydraulic and arbor presses, band saw and other general machine shop cutting tools and equipment • Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly through the use of calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, and indicators to verify dimensions to print • Maintain clean, organized and safe wo...
