Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to join their team! This role involves machine setups, programming, inspections, and ensuring efficient CNC operations. This is a potential temp-to-hire opportunity.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform CNC machine setups, edits, and programming per print specifications

  • Conduct first article inspections and ensure product quality

  • Load/unload parts and maintain accurate documentation

  • Monitor machines for efficiency and troubleshoot issues

  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety protocols

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report breakdowns

  • Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding production or quality concerns

  • Other related duties as assigned

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 4+ years CNC milling experience

  • Skilled in setups, edits, and CNC programming

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of machining processes

  • Proficient with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (Creo, Pro-M) or willingness to learn

  • Advanced math skills and basic computer proficiency

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work extended standing shifts

  • Forklift certification may be required

  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency and accuracy
