Job Description – CNC Operators

Location: Chennai
Positions:
  • Freshers (0–1 year): 15 Nos
    Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000
  • Experienced CNC Operators: 5 Nos
    Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000

    • About the Role

    We are hiring CNC Operators to join our production team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating CNC machines and ensuring smooth machining processes while maintaining quality and safety standards. Both freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines such as milling, turning, grinding, or drilling as per production requirements.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, tool layouts, and process sheets.

  • Set up tools, fixtures, and materials on CNC machines.

  • Monitor machine operations and adjust machine parameters to maintain quality output.

  • Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure machine cleanliness.

  • Measure and inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.

  • Identify and report any machining errors, deviations, or equipment malfunctions.

  • Ensure adherence to production schedules and safety protocols.

    • Required Qualifications

    Freshers (0–1 year):

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Machinist, Tool & Die, Production, or related discipline.

  • Basic understanding of mechanical drawings (added advantage).

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

    • Experienced Operators:

  • 1–5 years of experience working on CNC turning, milling, or VMC/HMC machines.

  • Hands-on experience in machine setup, program understanding, and tool handling.

  • Knowledge of CNC programming basics (added advantage).

    • Skills Required

  • Basic knowledge of CNC machine operations.

  • Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.

  • Ability to use measurement instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).

  • Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.

  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long durations.
