CNC Setter-cum-Operator (Turning)

Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Turning Operator / Setter to play a critical role in our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for the precise setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering specifications. Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC turning machines in accordance with technical drawings and work plans Perform tool setting, tool changes, and adjustment of machine parameters for optimal performance Accurately align and secure workpieces using appropriate clamping methods Monitor machining processes in real time and make timely corrections to address deviations Develop, modify, and implement CNC programs, including creating new programs for custom parts Conduct thorough inspections of machined components to verify dimensional accuracy and surface finish Identify, document, and resolve machining or quality-related issues promptly Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventive care of machinery to ensure reliability Requirements English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level Minimum of a two-year ITI, Diploma, or Bachelors degree in a relevant field At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Turning Operator / Setter Vocational training as a Machining Mechanic or CNC Machinist, with specialization in turning technology, or equivalent qualification with proven experience Demonstrated experience in programming and operating CNC turning machines Familiarity with Siemens or R&D control systems is advantageous Proficient in interpreting work plans, bills of materials, technical drawings, and quality specifications Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of reliability and accountability Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills Valid operator authorization for safe handling of lifting and hoisting equipment
Minimum of a two-year ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
