Overview
The purpose of this position is to learn from and support the store manager/general manager in all operations of a convenience and retail fuel site which may include quick-service restaurant. Required availability is 2:00 pm to 10:00pm.
Essential Job Functions
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) in the store manager/general manager’s absence
- Assist in monitoring applicant tracking system (ATS); actively recruit and hire store personnel
- Support employment candidates in completing onboarding assignments
- Assist in training site personnel
- Process customer transactions
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Create and submit daily store reports
- Monitor P&L reports to reach expected margins
- Collect and submit fuel price survey data
- Reconcile and prepare bank deposits
- Control cash handling, merchandise, and fuel inventories
