Job Description
The Coating Assistant supports the setup, operation, and cleanup of industrial coating/painting equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production of coated parts and materials. This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment that involves material handling, basic quality checks, and assisting machine operators or painters throughout the shift.
Key responsibilities
Assist in the setup, operation, and shutdown of coating or painting lines according to work instructions and safety procedures.
Load, unload, and stage raw materials, parts, and finished product; label, package, and palletize items for shipment or next process.
Perform basic prep work such as sanding, masking, cleaning, and hanging parts to ensure proper coating coverage and adhesion.
