About The Role

The Manufacturing Technician- Thin film Optical Coating Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of optical thin films deposited onto the optical elements in WESCAM MX-series product line. Additionally, the technician will work closely with the Front-Line Operations Leadership and Engineering staff to support investigate day-to-day issues that arise in the Coating production cell.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex optical schematics, ensuring precise execution of assembly, integration and testing procedures.
  • Execute- Inspect, clean, load coating chambers and troubleshoot complex optical components following all established manufacturing processes and procedures in alignment with AS9100 and MIL standards.
