Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Establish physical cocoa trading desk, building and maintaining relationships with producers/processors and wholesalers/manufacturers for the sale of cocoa products
  • Work with senior management on fostering and expanding relationships with farms/producers in West Africa
  • Managing hedging/futures positions for risk management purposes
  • Actively promote the business/brand to counterparties in the cocoa trading/production and processing space to expand the geographical footprint of the cocoa business
  • Keep up to date with analysis and market news to facilitate timely and profitable trades, working with the wider team on strategy
  • Work with operations/finance teams internally to ensure timely and accurate logistics/supply chain for the cocoa trading business
