Coder Legal Document Automation Coder (2+ Years Experience) Location: Kolkata (Global Delivery Centre) Experience: Minimum 2 years

Strategic Business Alliance (SBA) is a 15-year-old BPO, LPO and KPO providing high-quality professional services to law firms and legal departments across Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, with our Global Delivery Centre in Kolkata, we work with a diverse client base and specialise in legal support services, document automation, and technology-enabled solutions for the legal industry.

We are looking to expand our Coding Team and are seeking motivated coders with at least two years of experience who are interested in building a long-term career in legal document automation.

This role involves analysing, designing, and coding automated legal documents using scripting languages to support law firms and legal departments in Australia and the UK.

• Analyse legal documents and workflows to design automated solutions

• Code documents using a scripting language to enable automated data entry and document generation

• Test, troubleshoot, and maintain coded documents to a very high standard of quality

• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills during design and development

• Collaborate with other team members to deliver efficient and scalable solutions

• Continuously learn new tools, platforms, and coding languages relevant to document automation

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Law, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on coding experience

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or similar

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Exposure to the legal sector and legal terminology

• Experience with document automation platforms such as HotDocs and/or Softdocs

• Prior experience working with international clients or offshore delivery teams
