The Cognitive Engineer designs, builds, and improves AI/ML services that power ArcBest products, enabling seamless interaction between people and digital systems through advanced technologies. This position collaborates with cross-functional team members, including Machine Learning Engineers, alongside stakeholders and external vendors to deliver secure, high-performing solutions that drive business value.
Responsibilities
* Stay current with emerging cognitive technologies, AI/ML trends, and best practices.
* Execute the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring scalability and security.
* Design and implement robust testing strategies to validate functionality and performance.
* Work with business and application teams to ensure AI systems integrate effectively with enterprise systems.
