Handson experience with Cognos administration and architecture

Strong understanding of Cognos Connection Framework Manager and Report Studio

Familiarity with WebSphere Tomcat relational databases and Windows Linux environments

Proficiency in troubleshooting logs performance tuning and server optimization

Experience with SSO configuration and integration with enterprise systems

Need to work in 247 L2 Support model

Should have meticulous and detailed problem-solving skills

Excellent Analytical Communication Reporting Skills

Should have experience working in ITIL Process ServiceNow Control M or equivalent

Role L2 Data Tools Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

Install configure and maintain IBM Cognos Analytics environments 10x or 11x

Perform upgrades patches and migrations of Cognos components

Manage Cognos services dispatcher settings and gateway configurations

Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and optimize report delivery

Administer user roles groups and security policies using LDAP Active Directory

Collaborate with BI developers and business teams to support reporting and dashboard needs

Manage content store backups deployments and lifecycle management
