OVERVIEW
Lead and coordinator all planning activities related to the master production plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, release and track purchase orders with an established supply base. Manage procurement of inventory items needed to meet production requirements through review of planned order report. Manage purchase order process including negotiation of due dates and pricing with vendors to meet production requirements. Confers with suppliers concerning late, on-time and early deliveries and updating the system with information. Solid analytical skills in forecasting and the ability to evaluate customer requests in comparison to vendor capabilities to generate accurate order lead-times.
