Axcis is working with a fantastic college in Redbridge, who are looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to work on a full time and part time basis. The college has a lovely environment and a very supportive management team.
Hours: 9:30am - 3:30pm Pay: £13.39 an hour
Days: 4-5 days (Mon/Thurs or Tuesday/Fri) This role will involve supporting students aged 16–21 in both classroom group settings and on a 1:1 basis. Many of the young people you will be working with benefit greatly from having a strong mentor figure to guide them, and the successful candidate will need to provide a calm, steady presence alongside encouragement, boundaries and consistent support. You will also be involved in activities where physical confidence and resilience are important, so being able to act as a positive role model both inside and outside the classroom is key.
