Job Description

Performance Responsibilities: The College Student Tutor position is designed for students currently enrolled in 2 or 4 year colleges and universities to provide additional academic support and tutoring for LT Elementary Students. Tutors will work with small groups (1-3) of students on high priority academic content that has been provided by the school principal and/or teachers. 
  • Requirements:
    • Current college student
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Commit to 2-3 Tutoring Blocks per week
    • Preparation of materials for tutoring sessions that may include manipulatives and other hands-on materials
    • Track and monitor individual student participation and learning
    • Regular communication with classroom teachers, building principals and parents about student progress
    • Supervision of small groups (1-3) of student during the tutoring block
