Role Overview

As a Color Grading Artist at YAAS!, you'll be responsible for enhancing the visual storytelling of our content through expert color correction and grading. You'll work on diverse projects ranging from studio productions to outdoor shoots and events, ensuring each piece of content maintains the highest visual standards. This role demands technical expertise in color science, strong filmmaking background, and the ability to adapt your skills across various shooting conditions and environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced color correction and grading for both short-form and long-form content across multiple platforms

• Handle complex outdoor shoots and event footage with varying lighting conditions and technical challenges

• Collaborate with directors and cinematographers to achieve desired visual aesthetics and mood

• Maintain consistent brand identity and visual standards across all client projects

• Work with RAW footage from various camera systems and optimize for different delivery formats

• Create and maintain color palettes and LUTs for different projects and brand requirements

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to footage captured in challenging environments

• Meet tight production deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards

• Provide creative input on visual storytelling and cinematic aesthetics

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional color grading experience with strong filmmaking background

• Expertise in industry-standard color grading software (DaVinci Resolve, Avid Color, Adobe Premiere Pro)

• Proven experience color grading outdoor shoots, events, and challenging lighting conditions

• Strong understanding of color theory, exposure, and cinematography principles

• Experience working with various camera formats, codecs, and color spaces

• Knowledge of different delivery requirements for social media platforms and broadcast standards

• Ability to work collaboratively with directors, editors, and other post-production team members

• Strong problem-solving skills for technical and creative challenges

• Portfolio demonstrating range across different genres and shooting conditions

• Understanding of HDR workflows and emerging display technologies preferred
