Combustion Engine Performance Engineer

Summary:

Engine & ATS Calibration: To develop and optimize performance and emissions calibrations for Daimler truck internal combustion engines in accordance with specifications and legislative requirements. Candidate should have strong proficiency on IC engine fundamentals & relevant experience on performance and emission calibration, preferably on diesel engines.

Responsibilities

Engine/ATS calibration & development:

• Develop and optimize performance, emissions, and On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) calibrations for internal combustion engines/ATS on test bench in accordance with specifications and legislative requirements.
• Optimize the Engine / ATS calibration to meet the vehicle performance & FE targets
• Optimize vehicle level calibration to meet OBD & IUPR requirements
• Optimize Fuel Injection system calibration to meet the performance requirements
