Commercial Accounting Senior Analyst RTR

**About the role**
As the GBS Commercial Accounting Senior Analyst, you will execute complex commercial accounting activities and support accurate financial reporting across the Global Business Services organization.
Reporting to the Commercial Accounting Manager, you will operate as a senior individual contributor, focusing on higher-complexity transactions, analysis, and data quality. The role does not include people management, process ownership, or accountability for compliance outcomes.
**Your responsibilities**
+ Execute complex commercial accounting activities, including revenue recognition transactions, trade spend postings, and accrual calculations
+ Complete assigned month-end close activities accurately and on time
+ Perform variance analysis and support the preparation of financial insights and explanations of key movements
+ Partner with OTC and RTR teams to support seamless integration of commercial accounting workflows
+ Maintain data integrity across commercial accounting systems and reports, identifying and escalating issues as required
+ Review selected work outputs for accuracy and completeness
+ Support audit and internal review requests by preparing documentation
+ Perform activities in line with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
**The experience we're looking for**
+ 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or shared services, preferably within a commercial accounting environment
+ Strong understanding of revenue recognition, accruals, and reconciliation processes
+ Experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred, and Excel
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to work independently within defined processes and timelines
