Commercial Lines Underwriter

The primary purpose of this role is to quote and bind renewal and new business submission, whilst delivering a high quality client service to brokers and external stakeholders.

This includes (but is not limited to) tasks such as entering data into underwriting and various other systems required to track business, reviewing policy documents, handling broker, accounting or policies queries and working with the broader business to review renewal and new business submissions.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities in the role will include, but will not be limited to the following:

1. To liaise with brokers to resolve queries regarding new business submissions.
2. To prepare Underwriting files for both Renewal and New Business (including inputting data into the Underwriting system, compiling market research and completing raters).
