Job Description Summary

Develop the overall product process from laboratory scale to high volume manufacturing scale. Provide research into specific applications such as improved quality of commercialized products or a cost-effective manufacturing process. Deliver the technology and process capability needed to operate, maintain and improve manufacturing operations. Collaborates with the multi business and cross-functional teams to define process technology direction and programs to the business.


Key Responsibilities
Develop the overall product process from laboratory scale to high volume manufacturing scale.
Conduct lab experiments, data analysis and documentation on findings.
Provide technical insight, conduct FMEA (failure mode and effect analysis) and DOE (design of experiments). Collaborate with R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams to improve the quality, stabilize the supply of commercialized lithography products.
Engage with customers to understand market trend, prioritize the quality improvement projects and provide technical perspective.


Required skill-set
Professional working proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1), working proficiency in English.
A thorough understanding organic/inorganic/polymer chemistry and chemical engineering
Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple projects with varying deadlines and commitment.
Fast learner of new knowledge including technology, manufacturing, marketing, and customers.
Demonstrated hands-on abilities on DOE, FMEA (failure mode and effect analysis), RCI ( root cause investigation).
Education, Working Experience, Certificate and Other Requirements:
B.S. or higher degree in chemical engineering / chemistry / material science.
Work experience in semiconductor, chemical industries and polymerization are preferred.
Knowledge and certification of six-sigma, project management are preferred.
Driving license.
