Identifying mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Performing regular inspections and servicing on vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Collaborating with team members to devise solutions for complex mechanical issues. Maintaining accurate records of services performed and parts used. Staying updated on industry best practices and advancements in automotive technology. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent in motor vehicle or commercial vehicle mechatronics. Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician or Repairer. Good health to practice as a technician. Proven hands-on experience in workshop settings focusing on truck maintenance as a maintenance/service technician, repair as a repair/system technician, and diagnosis as a diagnostic technician. Age below 40 years

Completed vocational training as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician for Commercial Vehicles, Agricultural and Construction Machinery Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable technical qualification. · Hands-on 3 years experience in repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles- not passenger vehicles.
