We look forward to hearing from you!</p> <p><b>Title: Commercial Vehicle System Engineer</b></p> <p><b>Location: Lewisville, TX</b></p> <p><b>Duration: FTE/W2 Contract</b></p> <p><b>Salary: 100K +Benefits</b></p> <p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p> <p>program as a hands-on SME. Analyze customer-provided <br /> system engineering artifacts, close queries, define scope, and <br /> drive high-quality deliverables (SoW, architecture updates, <br /> requirement baselines) in accelerated timelines.<br /> Review and gap-analyze System Engineering artifacts; clarify <br /> open questions with customers. <br /> Establish ownership of two Vehicle System Engineering sprint <br /> teams with clear backlog, cadence, and Definition of Done. <br /> Baseline and publish the Vehicle Network database across <br /> ECUs and supplier interfaces (CAN/CAN FD/Ethernet). <br /> Deliver first-cut SoW and high-level scoping; align on <br /> cost/schedule with delivery. <br /> Update System Requirements and Architecture to incorporate <br /> Domain Addendum features (Brakes, Steering, Suspension, AV).<br /> Own two Vehicle System Engineering sprint teams; set agile <br /> rituals, backlog priorities, and sprint goals. <br /> Maintain and govern the Vehicle Network database, track <br /> signals, gateways, bandwidth, latency, and diagnostics across <br /> supplier ECUs. <br /> Coordinate with Tier-1 suppliers (e.g., <br /> braking/steering/suspension) and client ECUs to ensure <br /> interface alignment and change control. <br /> Lead requirements engineering: author, trace, and baseline <br /> System Requirements; manage change requests and impact <br /> analyses.<br /> Architectural updates: drive model-based architecture <br /> (SysML/UML), define interfaces, and produce system <br /> description artifacts. <br /> Validation planning support: define V&V strategies aligned to <br /> left side of the V; collaborate on HIL/SIL, integration, and <br /> vehicle-level tests. <br /> Document and publish SoW, assumptions, constraints, and risk <br /> register; report progress and metrics weekly.<br /> Onsite collaboration: to finalize scoping with customer <br /> stakeholders and continue support.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Requirements:</b></p> <p>Bachelor's/Master's in Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical, <br /> Electronics, Robotics, or Computer Science. <br /> 10 14 years in commercial vehicle (trucks/buses) systems <br /> engineering; strong ADAS and Chassis domain exposure. <br /> Hands-on experience with vehicle networks (CAN, CAN FD, <br /> Ethernet), diagnostics, and ECU integration. <br /> Proficiency with requirements management tools <br /> (DOORS/Jama), architecture/modeling tools (Rhapsody, <br /> Enterprise Architect), and configuration/change control. <br /> Working knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262), <br /> J1939,ASPICE processes, and regulatory frameworks relevant <br /> to commercial vehicles. <br /> Demonstrated cross-supplier coordination; ability to lead <br /> technical discussions and resolve interface issues.<br /> Excellent stakeholder communication; ability to create clear, <br /> concise technical documentation and SoWs.</p> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <p>Experience with Autonomous Driving System interfaces and <br /> high-complex ECUs.<br /> Exposure to vehicle-level integration, ACC/AEB tuning, and test <br /> planning at proving grounds. <br /> Familiarity with agile at scale (Scrum/Kanban), Jira/Azure <br /> DevOps, and engineering KPIs.</p> <p> </p> <p>MatchPoint Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.</p> <p>This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.</p>
