Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Follow recipes and instructions given by senior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
- Help with cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes as needed. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies properly.
- Learn kitchen procedures and techniques to develop culinary skills.
- Support other kitchen staff during busy hours.
- Requires standing for long hours and working under pressure.
- Shift work, including weekends and holidays, is common.
