Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
  • Follow recipes and instructions given by senior chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
  • Help with cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes as needed. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
  • Assist with receiving and storing food supplies properly.
  • Learn kitchen procedures and techniques to develop culinary skills.
  • Support other kitchen staff during busy hours.
  • Requires standing for long hours and working under pressure.
  • Shift work, including weekends and holidays, is common.
