Commis l - Pastry

A Commis I – Pastry is an experienced entry-level pastry chef responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting in dessert production, and supporting senior pastry chefs in the pastry kitchen. This role requires a solid foundation in baking and pastry techniques and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prepare pastry ingredients including measuring, mixing, whipping, portioning, and pre-preparing components for desserts and baked goods.
  • Assist in the preparation of cakes, pastries, breads, desserts, creams, fillings, and decorative elements under the supervision of the Demi Chef de Partie or Pastry Chef.
  • Support baking, glazing, decorating, plating, and finishing desserts according to recipes and presentation standards.
