About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Commis/Demi Chef to join our dynamic team at SKI F&B Pte. Ltd. in the Central Region. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting the overall kitchen operations and contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Ensure all food items are prepared according to standardised recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new dish ideas and improve existing menu items
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene practices at all times
  • Provide support and training to junior kitchen staff as needed

What we're looking for

  • Formal culinary training or relevant experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen brigade
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes and a commitment to continuous learning and development
