Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities:

Analyses the system behavior and the interaction of single elements.

Executes the hand-over to the customer personnel and their briefing.

May make optimizations of disciplines ( by settings).

May contribute as test engineer to admittances, routine and type tests.

May perform or support the determination or specification of the required test equipment.

May lead the commissioning staff functionally.

May control the mentioned tasks and /or provide supervisory guidance at site.

Analysing, developing, testing or implementing processes, technologies and systems in their specific field of expertise, from first principles.

Targets are short to medium term (best to be characterized as milestones), and achievements are monitored.

They may provide functional advice to and integrate services of operational staff or semi-professional colleagues.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.

Prior experience serving as Commissioning Engineer on Electrical Substation projects.

+ years of relevant experience.

Experience analysing, developing, testing and implementing processes, technologies and systems.

Experience planning activities and preparing reports.
