Commissioning Engineer Intern - Kiewit Power Engineering (Summer 2026)

Position Overview

The Commissioning Engineer Intern represents electrical commissioning for the project team from the estimating process all the way to project completion. The Commissioning Engineer Intern will participate in various project meetings to engage with the project team and perform electrical commissioning reviews during estimating, engineering, procurement, and construction phases. Further, the role will require supporting the onsite project commissioning team by drafting procedures and assisting onsite with major milestones in commissioning and project startup.

It is understood that the Commissioning Engineer Intern, while they may be conversant with the process, will not likely be considered an SME in all process technologies and disciplines.
