Your new role

Sales Operations
  • Support the Sales Director in developing and executing sales plans aligned with business strategy.
  • Manage day-to-day operations including contract execution, shipment coordination, and customer communication.
  • Track and report on order fulfillment, shipment schedules, and payment collection.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on product availability, grade requirements, and shipment programs.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across the region.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, attend meetings, and represent the company at customer events and site visits.
  • Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up for satisfaction.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and demand trends.
  • Contract & Commercial Management
  • Draft and review price offers and sales contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Assist in negotiations under the guidance of the Sales Director.
  • Monitor credit risk and maintain documentation for customer accounts.
  • Ensure product quality and sampling protocols are met in coordination with in-country teams.
  • Sales Administration
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets and data records.
  • Prepare monthly sales and stock reports, revenue commitment reports, and business presentations.
  • Document meeting minutes and assist the Sales Director with administrative tasks.
  • What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business, or Engineering.
  • 6 years of a mining or commercial background with exposure to international trade and contracts.
  • Customer account management and commercial negotiation experience.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office 365).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and commercially astute.
  • Ability to work in a global matrix structure with cross-cultural awareness.
