Launch Proposal


  • Vehicle Analyst Pilot (VAP) Triage problems in the plant.
    Discover issues.

  • Quality Analyst Pilot (QAP)

  • Supplier Conformance Pilot (SCP) Component/Assembly Assessment Through Data Correlation (initially just for parts that we are dimensionally responsible (create drawings for); but can be extended to supplier responsible based on workload). Have suppliers measure 5 sets of parts.
    Have Stellantis measure same 5 parts for measurement correlation.
    Analyze data to verify supplier measurement system can be trusted if/when issues arise.
    Verify parts on vehicle for build issues.
    Review data from supplier.
    Review flexible parts on gages (if workload permits). Check Gage/Fixture Design Buy-Off and Construction Reviews.
    Sub-Assemblies (Front or Rear Suspension Module) In-house built tooling repeatability studies run.
    Supplier responsible tooling repeatability studies reviewed and verified. Chassis on Wheels (CoW) Faro/Leica measurement of suspension hard point or other key points to baseline and then determine the build quality of the vehicle.
    Compare measurements to CAD and Susp files.
    Used to help with alignment and aligner fixes. Assembly Tooling Verification Final Aligners.
    Pre-Aligners (In-house built Modules).
    Decking Pallets.
    Maintenance schedule. Root Cause Part & Assembly Issues.
    Chassis Area List of Priority: Frames/Cradles
    CVA
    Suspension
    Brakes
    Mounts
    Hubs/Wheels/Tires
    Shifters
    Steering Gears/Columns
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Materials /Chemical/ Civil/ Aerospace).

  • 5 years' experience in automotive areas of Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and/or Product Quality.

  • Design experience, understanding of assembly sequence and processes.

  • Conformity metrics, knowledge of metrology data analysis.

  • Root Cause Analysis & issue solving process.

  • Knowledge in basic statistics and process control.

  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
