- Participate as a materials team member in new process and product development;
- Complete supplier cost/benefit analysis in order to select the best supplier and optimum supply chain;
- Plan, develop and implement tailored development plans for strategic supplier and potential suppliers;
- Continually optimizing supply chain with respect to price, inventory, supply continuity, terms and conditions;
- Ensure adherence to internal standards and practices;
- Identify means to improve efficiencies/speed of routine work; lead efforts to implement change;
- Provide regular feedback to manager - promote strengths, identify areas for improvement within the supply chain;
- Work with team to develop practices that enhance teamwork, efficiency and effectiveness;
