Commodity Specialist

We are currently seeking a talented Commodity Specialist to join our team at Allegion México. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support in supplier activities and reporting for various commodities such as Packaging, Fasteners, Machined Parts, Powdered Metals, and Springs. Your main tasks will include supporting Allegion operating systems, gathering and reviewing part drawings and specifications, conducting RFIs and RFQs with suppliers, validating commodity spend, and compiling supplier financial/performance analysis for negotiations.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in procurement sourcing, consulting, buyer, and/or analyst experience. You should also possess excellent data analytics skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint), and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and delivering results.
