Job Description
The Commodity Value Optimization Manager job responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage Full Value Optimization responsibilities for all Direct Material Commodity areas within Serial Life
Coordination responsibility for any cost impact as a result of Purchasing Performance or Powertrain specific reduction or over-recovery
Ownership of all supplier value optimization across full NA scope
Close coordination with ongoing Program actions to drive efficiencies and optimization of Serial Life production
Advanced understanding of supplier input into cost reduction activities
Working knowledge of program critical parameters into supplier selection process and management
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university or a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field from an AACSB accredited program
