Job Description

About the Studio
We are an independent design studio working across furniture, objects, and material-led design, rooted in craft, research, and contemporary aesthetics. Our work values process, storytelling, and thoughtful making—where every object has a narrative, and every detail matters.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Comunication Designer who can translate the studio’s design philosophy into a clear, consistent, and compelling visual and digital presence. This is a hybrid role that combines content strategy, visual design, and day-to-day social media execution.
You will work closely with the design team to shape how our work is seen, understood, and engaged with—across platforms and formats.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Content
- Plan and manage the studio’s social media presence (primarily Instagram; others as relevant)
- Develop content calendars aligned with collections, launches, exhibitions, and studio activities
- Write thoughtful captions and short-form text that reflect the studio’s voice and values
- Post consistently, monitor engagement, and respond to messages and comments
- Track basic analytics and insights to refine content strategy
- Coordinate content around launches, collaborations, and press moments
Graphic Design & Visuals
- Design social media assets, stories, reels covers, and promotional visuals
- Create simple layouts for lookbooks, presentations, invites, and announcements
- Maintain visual consistency across digital platforms
- Assist with basic photo selection, cropping, and visual editing
- Support brand storytelling through typography, layout, and image treatment
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with designers to understand concepts, materials, and processes
- Document studio processes, works-in-progress, and installations
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, or printers when required
- Assist with exhibition, event, or launch-related communication material
Skills & Experience
- 0–3 years of experience managing social media for a design, fashion, craft, or lifestyle brand
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (or equivalent tools)
- Strong visual sensibility and understanding of layout, typography, and composition
- Ability to write clearly and thoughtfully (English required; other languages a plus)
- Familiarity with Instagram content formats (posts, stories, reels)
- Basic understanding of branding and visual consistency
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage timelines independently
- Interest in design, furniture, craft, and material culture
What We Value
- A sharp eye and a calm, intentional aesthetic
- Sensitivity to craft, process, and storytelling
- Consistency over virality
- Thoughtfulness over trend-chasing
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the studio
What We Offer
- A design-driven, non-corporate work environment
- Direct involvement with collections, exhibitions, and studio life
- Creative autonomy with clear direction and mentorship
- Opportunity to grow with an evolving independent practice
