Position: Communications Summer Student Start Date: May 4, 2026 Employment Status: Summer Student (up to 16 weeks) Reporting To: Communications Officer Union Affiliation: Non-union Posting Date: February 3, 2026 Closing Date February 24, 2026 at 4:30 pm Contract Duration: May 4, 2026 – September 4, 2026 Position Summary: Perth County is recruiting for a Communications Summer Student to assist assists in supporting communication initiatives to promote transparency, community engagement, and public awareness of the County’s programs and services.


Reporting to the Communications Officer, the student will help develop and share content across various platforms, including Perth County’s website, social media channels and the development of print materials.
