Downunder Group Solutions are seeking an experienced Communications Technician to support a mine site operation on Groote Eylandt. This is a FIFO opportunity from Cairns or Darwin, working a 7/7 rotating day and night roster.

Key Responsibilities:
• Radio defect repairs and preventative maintenance
• 2-way radio communications, commissioning and installations
• PTX commissioning and installation
• LTE support including coverage impacts, commissioning and updates
• Site technology and modular system support
• Core network and server infrastructure support
• Fleet equipment setup (A-line BPS, PV3, low and high position systems)
• Fault finding and defect repairs
• Managing site radio consumables and stock levels

About You:
• Previous experience as a Communications Technician in mining or heavy industry
• Strong radio communications and site technology experience
• Experience with commissioning, installations and fault finding
• Safety-focused with strong site compliance
