Community Breakfast Meal Prep

Prepare meals alongside the head chef to feed those experiencing homelessness. Why: Currently, 1 in 5 Angelinos are food insecure. This equates to roughly 1 million Los Angeles County residents who do not know where their next meal will come from. Help serve meals to hungry individuals. Who: ServeLA provides meals, recovery, and holistic support to the unseen among us in the city. Community meals occur Monday through Friday with breakfast from 10-11 am and dinner from 5-6 pm. What to Expect: Serve alongside the head chef at various times of the day to help prepare meals for our community. What's Required: Closed-toed shoes, clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, and an attitude ready to have fun! Volunteer Agreement - Serve LA requires volunteers to sign a digitial volunteer agreement prior to starting. Please be sure to fill this out, you will recieve it from the Opportunity Coordinator in your confirmation email. Please contact the opportunity coordinator if you are completing community service hours: School Hours: This partner accept volunteers completing school community service hours. Court-Ordered Hours: Please contact the opportunity coordinator to undergo the pre-approval process. Court-ordered volunteers must be pre-approved to volunteer. Other : Please contact the opportunity coordinator to confirm hours can be counted. Any hours that are not scheduled will not be counted. A ny court-ordered hours that are not pre-approved, will not be counted.
