Job Description
We're looking for a Community Manager to own brand presence and conversations on Reddit and Quora for the brands we work with. This role is focused on hands-on content posting, discussion management, and community participation to support brand awareness, credibility, and performance-driven marketing goals.
You'll work closely with internal strategy and content teams to ensure brand messaging feels native, relevant, and non-promotional across community platforms.
- Own day-to-day community management on Reddit and Quora , including posting, commenting, replying, and discussion participation
- Identify relevant subreddits, threads, and Quora questions aligned with brand objectives and audience intent
- Create, adapt, and publish platform-native content (text posts, comments, answers, discussion prompts)
- Manage brand tone and voice while ensuring content feels organic and community-first
- Monitor conversations, feedback, and sentiment related to brands, competitors, and category trends
- Coordinate with internal content and strategy teams to align community activity with broader marketing campaigns
- Maintain a basic editorial calendar for Reddit and Quora activity
- Track performance metrics (engagement, visibility, traffic, sentiment) and share regular reports
- Ensure community guidelines, platform rules, and brand safety standards are always followed
- 1-3 years of experience in community management, social media, or content marketing
- Hands-on experience posting and engaging on Reddit and/or Quora (personal or brand accounts)
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone across brands and platforms
- Good understanding of how communities operate and what content performs well in discussion-led platforms
- Ability to follow brand playbooks, content guidelines, and moderation best practices
- Comfortable managing multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
- Experience working with brands or agencies
- Familiarity with SEO, AI search behavior, and community-driven discovery
- Understanding of platform moderation rules and risk management
- Experience tracking engagement and performance metrics for community platforms
- Consistent, high-quality brand presence across relevant Reddit and Quora communities
- Increased engagement, upvotes, meaningful replies, and brand visibility
- Community participation that supports marketing objectives without sounding promotional
