Community Marketing Manager (US-focused) — Coreworks
Bengaluru, India | US Market Focus | Full-time | Competitive Pay + Equity
Coreworks is building an AI-native way to turn raw company data — spreadsheets, systems, messy inputs — into finished outputs : models, reports, and decks people actually use.
We’re an early-stage AI startup building alongside our users, most of whom are global.
This role is about building a real community from zero .
Not social media management.
Not content calendars.
Not vanity metrics.
We’re looking for someone who can take a small group of early users and turn it into a trusted, high-signal community , primarily for the US market, while being based in India.
What You’ll Do
- Build and run Coreworks’ early user community (Slack-first) for US-based users
- Turn early builders and design partners into an engaged, trusted group
- Define how the community works: onboarding, norms, rituals, cadence, and programming
- Drive meaningful engagement — conversations that help users build better
- Work closely with founders, product, and GTM teams across time zones
- Plan and support small, high-quality US-focused events (virtual and in-person)
- Coordinate participation around US conferences, meetups, and ecosystem events
- Capture community insights and feed them directly into product and strategy

- A Slack community users actively participate in and trust
- Members helping each other without heavy team involvement
- Strong engagement around launches, events, and discussions
- Community becoming a source of product insight, advocacy, and growth
Who You Are
- You’ve built or grown a real community before (startup, product, or professional)
- You have strong marketing fundamentals: positioning, messaging, audience thinking
- You’re comfortable working with US users and stakeholders
- You write clearly and communicate confidently in English
- You enjoy starting from zero and building systems that scale
- You care deeply about quality, trust, and long-term relationships
Strong Plus
- Experience building US-facing communities from India
- Early-stage SaaS, fintech, or AI startup experience
- Hands-on experience running Slack, Discord, or WhatsApp communities
- Experience supporting meetups, webinars, or small events
- Prior exposure to US customers, founders, or professional communities
