Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Community Tutor to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational PRU Settings on a full-time and long-term basis.


Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Community Tutor to work with pupils in the community on a 1:1 basis. The work is based in South Shields. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development.

About the Role:

  • The role will involve delivering engaging intervention sessions to support young people with their engagement, progress and attitude towards learning. The pupils will have varying levels of SEMH as well as challenging behaviour.
