ROLE FUNCTION AND PURPOSE
The Compensation Analyst works closely with business leaders and the Sales Compensation Lead and Manager, Variable Sales Compensation to administer sales variable compensation calculations, modeling ROI analysis, strategic partnership management, reporting deliverables including preparing management reports, presentations, and documenting business process.
This is an exciting and the critical role in the organization as this team manages the variable compensation for 400+ HC which involves various levels of corporate strategies with the power of real time compensation analytics, business intelligence tools and the inhouse platforms.
What you'll be doing
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the regional sales leaders, Chief Data and Analytics officer and the Director of Sales Compensation in the administration of global sales variable compensation and partnership calculations including commissions, sales bonuses, and incentives.
Run monthly sales commission processes for various roles across the different geo’s we operate in. Maintain compensation structures on the required systems based on Commission Plans Build and model pay for performance sales commission and incentive plans for various roles from inside sales team to senior sales management team which deliver enhanced business performance. Calculate monthly/quarterly/annual incentives for sales leadership roles. Administer and track individual performance under sales incentive programs. Measure sales performance against an established set of KPIs. Engage with the business leaders on the sales ROI and promote new incentives to motivate the sales team to support organization growth. Analyze, reconcile, and audit commission and incentive calculations to ensure adherence to approved plans. Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of sales programs. Respond to inquiries regarding compensation payout, partnership management, policies, and procedures. Run and distribute accurate and timely Partner statements. Develop and support monthly partnership and client reporting Prepare modeling to assess ROI & also conduct due diligence for partnership evaluation. Prepare and update regular partner profitability analysis Assist in automation of key process and maintain regular reports for strategic partnerships. Identify and recommend improvements to current processes, with a focus on increased efficiencies and enhanced value-added analytics. Introduce new analysis and reporting formats which provide insights to different areas of the business. Provide support on variety of integration and other special projects central to improving internal business processes including defining business needs into product requirements. Support a variety of special compensation and partnership revenue share projects to improve internal business processes. Assist in implementing solutions for variable compensation and partner revenue share reporting and modeling. Maintain documentation for all processes
EXPERIENCE AND KEY SKILLS
Mandatory :
2+ Years’ Experience in sales compensation and data analytics Business Intelligence tool(s) (e.g., Firsthand experience with Power BI) Compensation modeling and administration knowledge/experience Data analysis, reconciliation, and data mapping Intermediate Microsoft SQL & VBA/Macros Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint Other requirements (nice to have) :
Basic Knowledge on CRM (Salesforce)
