Competition Associate

Our client, a highly respected multinational law firm, is seeking an associate to join their leading team, advising clients in the technology, telecommunications, manufacturing and healthcare sectors on Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) compliance and approvals. Ideal candidates will have 2–6 years of experience in private practice advising clients on competition law, mergers and acquisitions, and/or investigations, and be committed to building expertise in competition and consumer law.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on obtaining ACCC clearance for mergers, acquisitions and a range of commercial transactions.
• Act for clients in ACCC investigations and enforcement actions involving cartel conduct, misuse of market power, misleading or deceptive conduct and other alleged anti-competitive behaviour.
