Purpose of Role:
As a Compliance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Weir Group's global Compliance framework. You will be embedded within our global business units, acting as a trusted advisor and champion of ethical conduct. You will help identify and assess compliance risks, support mitigation strategies, and ensure our operations meet regulatory expectations while staying true to Weir's values of Safety, Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering - Build strong relationships across Weir to understand operational realities and associated compliance needs. This person will act as the main point of contact for business units
Compliance Risk Management - Lead and support Compliance risk assessments across global operations. This person will develop, maintain and update the compliance risk register and collaborate with business leaders to develop and monitor effective risk mitigation plans. This will include supporting policy implementation, and training.
Monitoring and Reporting - Monitors adherence to procedures and codes of conduct - this will include tracking and reporting on compliance metric, key risk indicators and investigation outcomes.
Training - Design and deliver engaging compliance training tailored to Weir's industrial context and promote a culture of integrity and accountability through ongoing awareness initiatives.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
Professional Experience: Over 5 years of progressive experience in compliance, audit, or risk management, ideally within a multinational finance environment. This should include In-depth knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, including anti-corruption, sanctions, and data privacy regulations.
Technology Proficiency: Skilled in using compliance and risk management tools such as Navex, IntegrityNext, and Power BI. Good proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Analytical & Reporting Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into clear, actionable reports.
Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
