Component Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and analytical individual to join our team as a Commodity Engineer. This role focuses on identifying dual-source options, managing crisis parts, and enabling data-driven decisions to support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify alternative and dual-source part solutions for at-risk components or constrained supply.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost structures to recommend competitive alternates.
• Ensure alternate proposals meet internal standards, external regulatory compliance and aligned with Procurement strategy.
• Support the development and execution of contingency and mitigation plans to manage supply risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on proposals and execution timelines.
