Component Manager – Obsolescence

We are supporting a leading defence organisation in recruiting a Component Manager specialising in obsolescence. This role offers the opportunity to lead obsolescence management across a range of equipment, providing guidance, support and best practice to stakeholders both internally and internationally. The successful candidate will influence robust processes and reporting across multiple programmes.

Key Responsibilities
Manage proactive and reactive obsolescence of components
Provide expert advice and guidance on best practice
Maintain compliance processes and reporting standards
Participate in design reviews, training, and development activities
Support or lead international obsolescence initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience in component obsolescence management
Knowledge of BS 62402:2001 compliance standards
