Component Manager – Obsolescence

We are supporting a leading defence organisation in recruiting a Component Manager specialising in obsolescence. This role offers the opportunity to lead obsolescence management across a range of equipment, providing guidance, support and best practice to stakeholders both internally and internationally. The successful candidate will influence robust processes and reporting across multiple programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage proactive and reactive obsolescence of components
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on best practice
  • Maintain compliance processes and reporting standards
  • Participate in design reviews, training, and development activities
  • Support or lead international obsolescence initiatives
