Your opportunity

As part of the Computation and Simulation team, you will work on simulation-driven design and optimization activities. You will develop and analyze mechanical system models, support product development, and provide actionable insights to improve performance and reliability.

Your Mission

  • As part of the Computation and Simulation team,
    you will work on simulation-driven design and optimization activities.
  • You will

  • Lead and execute MBD, kinematic, and dynamic simulation activities independently, responding to requests from project leaders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the development of new equipment, technologies, and concept studies.
  • Build, validate, and refine multi-body dynamic models using SolidWorks Motion (Must Have) and other MBD platforms such as ANSYS Motion, ADAMS, or Sim pack etc.
  • Perform dynamic, kinematic, vibratory, and structural simulations (MBD/FEA).
  • Analyse simulation results and provide clear recommendations to improve product design and system performance.
  • Collaborate closely with design engineers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MBD insights into the product development process.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation covering methodology, assumptions, results, and recommendations.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for design optimization based on simulation outcomes.
  • Support physical testing by correlating simulation results with experimental data.
  • Conduct static, linear, Non-linear, dynamic, fatigue, simulations using internal SIDEL tools Ansys Workbench/APDL etc.

  • Level of education,
    computer skill and languages:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Language requirement: English (French or Italian is a plus)

    • Required experience and
    skills:

  • 3-6 years of experience in MBD, Kinematic, structural simulations.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks Motion.
  • Knowledge of Software’s: SolidWorks Motion (Must), ADAMS, ANSYS Motion, Ansys Mechanical, SolidWorks, MATLAB
  • Experience in special machine environment, ideally knowledge of blow molders, fillers, labelers. Hygienic design, Food industry etc.
  • Reliability methods knowledge, 6 sigma knowledge
  • Office 365, Computer programming (VBA, Python, MATLAB, ANSYS …)
  • Good knowledge of SAP
