Key Role:
Leverages physics expertise to test and analyze physical phenomena to support S&T client challenges. Applies advanced skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
11+ years of experience with conducting systems engineering or research developing and advancing physics-based models, including atmospheric transport or biological weapons effects
5+ years of experience with computational dynamics and modeling, including solving partial differential equations using numerical methods such as finite element, finite volume, and finite difference
Experience in creating software tools that generate images with realistic, physics-based artifacts and qualities, supporting anomaly detection and classification
