Early-career Embedded Software Developer position for UAB's Engineering and Innovative Technology Development (EITD) group.Develops viable software/firmware components based on project requirements and specifications and assists in the development, testing, continuous improvement and deployment of desktop , web-based, and embedded software/firmware applications to support payload systems for space applications. Develops detailed engineering documents, test and validation plans, performs component and system-level testing and debugging, and develops preliminary test and analysis code development for complex engineering hardware and devices.
