Job Description

Provide advanced diagnostic imaging services with a focus on CT and MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care. This contract position is located in Hayden, CO, offering opportunities to work with diverse imaging modalities in a healthcare setting that values professional growth and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI and CT imaging in accordance with established protocols, demonstrating expertise in radiographic procedures including X-ray and Fluoroscopy.
  • Maintain radiation safety and adhere to ALARA standards.
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, coordinating service maintenance as needed.
  • Document patient records accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and manage procedure charge capture.
  • Support flexible scheduling including call, overtime, and holiday shifts; assist and cross-train imaging staff.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and safety procedures.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professional communication with patients, staff, and vendors.
  • May assist with clerical tasks and patient transportation when required.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • ARRT registration in Radiology (R) with certifications in Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Preferred two years experience in radiologic technology with CT and MRI modalities.
  • Cross-training in additional imaging modalities such as DEXA or Mammography is a plus.
  • Experience with EHR systems, PACS, and RIS/HIS software.
  • Must legal eligibility to work in the US and pass required background and drug screenings.
