Senior CAD Design Engineer – Medical Devices

Location

Chennai (IIT Madras Research Park): Onsite, no WFH

Experience

4–8 years (minimum 4 years in medical devices

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced CAD Design Engineer to design and develop mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and enclosures for Class D Medical Devices. The candidate must be strong in DFM/DFA, precise documentation, and fully comfortable working under medical device design controls while following applicable ISO / ASTM norms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own mechanical CAD development : pump head parts, housings, fixtures, brackets, mounts, catheter-related mechanical parts, enclosures, and serviceable assemblies
