Computer Aided Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and Drafting

- Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for sheet metal and other components using SolidWorks.

- Prepare fabrication drawings, BOMs, and exploded views.

- Support senior engineers in managing ECNs and implementing design improvements.

- Welding symbols, Fabrication knowledge ,Fabrication Drawing, Assembly drawings, sheet metal, solidworks

2. Prototyping and Testing Support

- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth prototype development.

- Assist in testing prototypes and documenting results.

3. Documentation and Communication

- Maintain accurate design records and support team efforts in project execution.

- Participate in team discussions and provide inputs for design optimization.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or similar stream.

- Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design and drafting, FMEA, DFMA

- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and BOM preparation.

- Basic understanding of ECNs and design iteration processes.
